Since 2015, the competition has been successfully held for 8 times, attracting more than 200,000 players from more than 20 countries around the world, and is known as the "Olympic" of the robot industry.
As the "Olympic" of the robotics industry, the World Robot Competition has been continuously guided by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for many years, and has been continuously shortlisted for the list of national competitions for primary and secondary school students announced by the General Office of the Ministry of Education, and has achieved international mutual recognition of the results of multiple competitions, covering primary schools, junior high schools, high schools, universities and other age levels. Applicants can log on to the official website of the "World Robot Competition", the registration period is from October 7 to 13, and all relevant units can form their own teams. At the same time, the recruitment of volunteers for this competition has begun, and those who meet the conditions can apply for volunteers before October 13. The organizing committee of the competition will provide volunteers with transportation, catering, insurance and other guarantees during the volunteer service, and issue honorary certificates such as volunteers, excellent volunteers, and excellent volunteer units for the 2023 World Robot Competition Championship (Zhengzhou).
It is reported that the competition is divided into a total of 12 competitions in Class A and Class B. The competition aims to fully cultivate the comprehensive abilities of young people such as teamwork, strategic division of labor, and hands-on practice through competition activities, stimulate the research and innovation spirit of the participants, effectively promote the organic integration of production, learning, research and application in the field of robotics, and contribute wisdom and solutions to the development of global robot technology and industry.
