At present, the company has provided technology transformation products in the fields of autonomous driving, robotics, industrial intelligence, AI medical treatment and so on.
Taking robots as an example, the track is one of the AI landing directions that Shenlan Technology focuses on. On January 19 this year, 17 departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued the "Robot +" application action Implementation Plan, proposing that by 2025, the density of manufacturing robots will double compared with 2020, and the application depth and breadth of service robots and special robots industries will be significantly improved.
In this context, B-end commercial service robots have become a hot spot in the service robot industry due to the diversity of their application scenarios, and overseas markets with a higher level of development and lack of labor have become the key investment of domestic robot manufacturers.
At present, the aging of the population is intensifying, and many countries are facing the problem of labor shortage and high employment costs. According to data released by Eurostat in June, hourly labor costs in the European Union and the euro zone rose 5.3% and 5.0% respectively in the first quarter from a year earlier.
Taking the cleaning industry as an example, the cleaning work is relatively complex, and for the labor-intensive cleaning service industry, it will inevitably fall into the dilemma of difficult recruitment and personnel loss.
"Cleaning staff in some parts of the UK are paid as much as £29 an hour, compared to €28 in Europe and $25 in the US." Chen Haibo told the 21st Century Business Herald that the demand for low-cost, high-efficiency automated cleaning robots in Europe is very urgent, and its intelligent indoor cleaning robots are popular in overseas markets.
"The underlying logic of a robot is that it's cheaper and more efficient than humans." The person in charge of the overseas division of Shenlan Technology Group told the 21st Century Business Herald that Shenlan Technology began overseas business in 2021, and it has just started to get large orders, and currently more than 90% of its products are exported overseas.
The business of the domestic market is also in the process of starting, according to reports, this conference is also for domestic investment. "The domestic labor cost contradiction is not so prominent abroad," the person in charge told reporters that the domestic and foreign demand points are different, foreign attention to the robot to solve the pain points of labor, domestic more attention to the use of robot scenarios, take a look at technology penetration of life, which is particularly significant in first-tier cities.
Shenlan technology is also in the C-terminal layout. At the meeting on the 29th, the industry's first wheel-legged family companion robot equipped with a large model of silicon-based knowledge independently developed by Shenlan Technology was officially unveiled. According to reports, Shenlan family robot Lanbao has intelligent companionship, children's learning, safety monitoring, accompanying growth and other core functions.
Chen Haibo said that the future home service robot market will far exceed the industrial robot market, and many countries are facing the problem of aging. Data show that in 2022, China's home intelligent robot market size reached 72.36 billion yuan, an increase of 31.0%; It is expected to reach 95.92 billion yuan in 2023, an increase of 32.8%, and the market size will be close to 300 billion yuan in 2027.
However, for the status quo of the development of artificial intelligence, Chen Haibo told the 21st Century Business Herald reporter that the market and capital's expectations for the commercialization of artificial intelligence are too high, leading to the rush of relevant enterprises, but the actual foundation has not yet been laid, and the ecology has not yet been established.
Taking the popular generative AI as an example, Chen Haibo believes that although generative AI has landed applications in many fields, such as natural language processing, image generation and audio synthesis, these are in the use stage of basic functions, and the value brought to society and industry is far from enough.
"To really use generative AI, we also need to find the right application scenario, in short, how to apply generative AI to solve the difficulties encountered in the real business operation environment." At this point, the common difficulty is how to reduce the difficulty and cost of developing and using adaptive generative AI applications in the industry." Chen Haibo told reporters.
Chen Haibo believes that China is good for the development of artificial intelligence in terms of policy, market and technology, and it is necessary to give artificial intelligence more time, especially to support institutions with the ability to do basic research.
At the same time, the artificial intelligence industry needs multi-party partners to deepen cooperation, and promote the continuous development and wide application of artificial intelligence technology in various industries through the complementary advantages of technology and resources. It is reported that at the event site, a total of more than 20 partners of city-level companies and more than 30 regional distribution partners successfully signed cooperation agreements, and the total order value of ecological partners exceeded 500 million yuan.
