Miyun District is an important water source and ecological conservation area of the capital, with a forest coverage rate of 69.91% and a forest greening rate of 75.3%. The forest area is wide, and the task of forest fire prevention is arduous. To this end, on the basis of civil air defense, Miyun District has vigorously promoted the level of technical defense, and 149 mountain monitoring probes have been installed to achieve 24-hour uninterrupted automatic monitoring through infrared and smoke sensing modes. Observation towers have been put into use in five towns, including Xiwengzhuang and Gaoling, to improve the coverage of forest fire protection lookout in key areas of the first-level circle of the reservoir, and drones have been equipped in 16 key towns of forest fire prevention in the region for fire field detection and daily inspection.
At the same time, Miyun District has also continuously improved the construction of communication systems, purchased emergency command vehicles and built forest fire fighting command and dispatch communication and information systems. According to the actual needs of forest fire fighting sites, audio and video calls, one-click command delivery, and rapid access to aerial images have been realized among various departments. According to Zhao Lei, chief of the Forest Defense Department of Miyun District Emergency Bureau, compared with traditional patrol methods, scientific and technological means have the advantages of quickly locating the fire point, judging the fire spread trend, real-time transmission of the background command center, etc., which provides a strong data guarantee for rapid fire prevention and scientific dispatch of rescue.
In the future, Miyun will continue to equip ecological management personnel with intelligent terminal equipment, improve the efficiency of equipment use, continuously strengthen the construction of Internet and forest fire prevention system, as well as the application of forest fire prevention code, and eventually form a prevention and control network combining air, mountain and ground, realize the transformation from civil air defense to three-dimensional prevention and control, and build a strong first line of forest fire prevention and control.
