At the same time, he analyzed some challenges facing the intelligent robot industry in Beijing. Yi Ming said that the development of the intelligent robot industry involves the comprehensive application of multiple disciplines, in addition to its own algorithms and hardware, industrial development also needs further attention and support from the municipal government in communication, urban infrastructure and policy formulation. At present, Beijing has obvious advantages in scientific and technological innovation, but to quickly transform into market advantages, there is an urgent need to solve the breadth and depth of industrial layout, basic disciplines such as applied material industry integration support, and the improvement of high-end non-standard machine processing capabilities.
 
In this regard, Yiming put forward several suggestions:
 
The first is the product design of the intelligent robot itself, to unify the necessary software interface. Through the overall planning, the relevant software has a unified open protocol and communication interface, which provides a more convenient and integrated technical platform support for the overall management and services of the city in the future.
 
Secondly, it is necessary to plan and improve the infrastructure of intelligent robot operation and maintenance, and formulate relevant construction standards. New projects reserve supporting conditions in advance, including wireless signals, internal traffic running lines, charging areas, and elevator calling functions. For existing projects, it is recommended that the government take various measures such as encouragement, funding, and operation subsidies to promote the development of intelligent commercial robot end industry applications in Beijing.
 
The third is a more practical pilot application. The comprehensive application pilot of intelligent commercial robots will be carried out in qualified university campuses, large commercial complexes and large communities to explore their application potential in a wider range. For example, he said: a centralized distribution point or distribution warehouse can be set up in the relevant scene, which is sorted by manual express and put into the corresponding distribution robot. Then automatically delivered to the designated building or the nearest locker; In the environment where conditions permit, it can be distributed to the elevator hall of different office floors, and even sent to the actual scene test of the station.
 
In addition, the development of the intelligent robot industry should especially emphasize the combination of production, university and research, and improve the high-end R & D industry chain. Yi Ming suggested that cooperation between enterprises and universities can accelerate the transformation of scientific research achievements; Colleges and universities set up targeted majors to solve the problem of mismatch between what they learn and what society needs; The government takes the lead in aggregating the innovation and sharing platform of materials research institutions in Beijing to solve the difficulties of enterprise research and development; Introduce more high-end manufacturing platforms to solve the needs of non-standard manufacturing.
