"It is often difficult to extinguish fires in complex environments, such as flammable and explosive places such as large oil depots and chemical parks, and it is difficult for general fire trucks and firefighters to get close to the fire source to extinguish fires, and personal safety cannot be guaranteed." Ji Wei, general manager of Shendu Fire, introduced that the large-flow fire extinguishing robot researched by the research and development team has automatic inspection of fire sources and automatic tracking of fire extinguishing, which can replace firefighters to enter explosive fire extinguishing sites and reduce casualties. For the two words "fire", the equipment plays a role of "elimination" and has the function of "prevention".
The name of the fire extinguishing robot is a bit fashionable, and behind it is a set of invisible digital control system in precise operation. In the event of a fire in the reservoir area, technicians can control the robot automatically into the fire through the remote control system. "It has a fire identification system on it that allows the robot to determine a number of parameters, such as how far away it is from the fire, how much water is needed to extinguish the fire, how far away the robot is to operate safely." Xu Shenhai, technical director of deep fire, told reporters that after the data is transmitted to the water supply equipment, according to another set of control system of the receiver inside the water supply equipment, the output water supply and water cannon output are controlled, and then the striking distance and Angle of the water cannon are adjusted.
Seemingly simple, but the road to technical research is not smooth. The biggest difficulty faced by researchers is to solve the robot's climbing and obstacle crossing in a complex environment, and at the same time, it can also have the functions of automatic fire source identification, large flow rate effective fire extinguishing and high temperature heat insulation. With the support of science and technology departments at all levels, on the one hand, Shendu Fire research and development personnel through a large number of bench tests, comparison and analysis of data, and constantly optimize and improve the design model; On the other hand, under the premise of having independent intellectual property rights, we seek technical support in different professional fields and carry out multi-party industry-university-research cooperation.
At present, the existing fire fighting robots on the market are small flow robots, the maximum flow is about 100 liters/second, the longest range is not more than 100 meters, and the fire fighting effect is not ideal in complex environments. The fire fighting robot developed by Shendu Fire Protection has a flow rate of up to 400 liters/second, and the longest shooting range can reach 150 meters. Xu Shenhai revealed that the subsequent demonstration can be developed by the robot, the flow can reach 1000 liters/second, the longest range can reach 240 meters. This technology has not yet been applied to mature products, and it is a cutting-edge technology in the fire protection industry, leading in China. Starting from the project research five years ago, Shandu Fire has completed the factory test of the first generation prototype at the end of 2020, and conducted a fire suppression promotion demonstration in a petrochemical reservoir area in Tianjin in 2021. "based on the on-site feedback, we will incorporate computer vision recognition technology to make the fire-fighting robot more efficient and intelligent through advanced technologies such as digital twins."
At present, the Marine market tends to pick up, Shandu fire is focusing on strengthening the leading position of the Marine fire market, gradually involved in ports, docks and other fields, and continue to increase the technical development of the mainland fire market with urban fire and flood relief as the entry point. Integrated Marine and land market, in the first half of the year, Shendu fire handheld orders increased by 400% year-on-year, showing a strong upward momentum of growth.
