Professor Huang Qiang of Beijing Institute of Technology and Professor Sun Fuchun of Tsinghua University are nine famous experts as members of the committee.
As the first provincial humanoid robot innovation center in China, Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center is jointly established by robot machines, core components, large models and other enterprises. With the overall goal of creating the world's first universal humanoid robot "hardware mother platform" and the first large model + open source operation control system "software mother platform", the innovation center aims at the international forefront, builds the full-stack technology ecology of humanoid robots, and carries out the research and development of universal ontology such as integrated joints, dexterous hands, operating arms, legs and feet, motion planning and control, and large models. Clarify the phased strategic goals of universal humanoid ontology, artificial intelligence, large model, and ecological community, and support the innovation center to quickly achieve technological breakthroughs and product iterations.
As the think tank of Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, the expert committee will focus on the key common technologies of humanoid robots, support scientific decision-making with scientific consultation, feel the strategic development planning of the innovation center, play a guiding role in technical route exploration, project control, and achievement transformation, and provide forward-looking and high-level decision-making support for the development of humanoid robots in Beijing Economic Development Zone.
Recently, Beijing has set up a 50 billion yuan government investment fund, focusing on the four major industries of medicine and health, artificial intelligence, robotics and information, of which the registration place of the Beijing Robot Industry Development Investment Fund has fallen in the Beijing Economic Development Zone.
As an important sign to measure the level of national scientific and technological innovation and high-end manufacturing, humanoid robots are becoming a new highland of scientific and technological competition and a new track for future industries.
"The Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center landed in the Beijing Economic Development Zone, becoming a good start for us to further promote cooperation in the field of humanoid robots." Beijing economic development zone management Committee deputy director Liu Li said.
At present, the Beijing Economic Development Zone has gathered 110 robot enterprises, forming a robot whole industrial chain system covering core parts, complete machines and applications, and is making every effort to build a leading robotics innovation source, high-end manufacturing cluster, integrated application new highland and industrial ecological demonstration site. It is expected that by 2025, the output value of the robot industry in Beijing Economic development Zone will reach 10 billion.
